Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 July 2026

Welcome to myHommade. The Platform is operated by Leonilde Ltd, an English company, Company Number 11020979, registered office at 181 Downhills Way, London, England, N17 6AH (United Kingdom) ("myHommade", "we"). By using our website and application you accept these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

Platform: the website, mobile application and services offered by myHommade.
User: anyone who accesses or uses the Platform.
Seller: user who lists and sells products on the Platform.
Buyer: user who purchases products through the Platform.

2. Subject matter of the service

myHommade is a marketplace connecting sellers and buyers of handmade products. myHommade is not a party to the sale contract between seller and buyer, but provides the technological tools to facilitate the transaction (product listing, order management, payment processing and shipping support).

3. Registration and account

4. Seller obligations

5. Buyer obligations

6. Payments, fees and shipping

Payments are processed securely via the payment provider Stripe; card data is processed directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers. Amounts due to sellers are handled via Stripe Connect, after completing the verification procedure required by the provider.

myHommade may apply transaction fees, communicated transparently to sellers during registration and in the management dashboard. Displayed prices may include or exclude shipping costs, as indicated at checkout.

Shipping is managed by sellers through couriers integrated into the Platform: Sendcloud for the European Union and Shippo for the UK and United States (with labels and, where available, delivery QR codes). Shipping times and costs are shown on the product page and confirmed at checkout.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

For purchases by consumers, the right of withdrawal under consumer protection law applies, generally within 14 days of receiving the goods, except where the law provides otherwise (e.g. custom-made or personalised goods, perishables or sealed goods opened for hygiene reasons). Return conditions may vary by seller and product type and are shown on the product page. For assistance contact the seller or our support.

Consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

8. Content and intellectual property

Content published by users (text, images, descriptions) remains their property; users grant myHommade a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it on the Platform. Use of others' content without authorisation is prohibited.

9. Limitation of liability

myHommade does not guarantee the quality, legality or compliance of products sold by sellers. We are not liable for damage arising from transactions between users, except as required by mandatory law. The Platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform in case of violation of these terms, fraudulent activity or upon request by authorities. Users may close their account at any time from app settings or by contacting support.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's country of establishment, subject to mandatory rules and non-waivable consumer protections under the law of the consumer's country of residence. For consumers resident in Italy, the Consumer Code and the court of the consumer's domicile or residence apply.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service. Material changes will be communicated to registered users. Continued use of the Platform after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
